Notre Dame Science Club (NDSC), the first science club of Indian sub-continent and a compelling part of Notre Dame College’s proud history, started its journey on 18th September, 1955 A.D. Founded by “The Magsaysay” award winner, eminent biologist and former principal Fr. Richard William Timm, C.S.C., NDSC has been spreading the light of science and awareness among the youth with the motto “Science In Human Welfare”.
Notre Dame Science Club, also known as NDSC, the most promising, versatile and distinguished co-curricular activities club of Notre Dame College began its inception in 1955, to promote the zeal of science among the students. Holding the noble motto, “Science in Human Welfare”, the eminent scientist Fr. Richard William Timm C.S.Cinaugurated the flag of NDSC. Being the oldest and the most renowned science club, NDSChas a long tradition of encouraging its followers to discover their latent zeal for science.
